1. almost got scalped by a rope-tow skilift ("Babylift") (seriously! the rope spins and my hair got caught in it, and the operator only realized that something was wrong, when already my head was fixed to the rope by my hair being pulled at with immense force. For several reasons it would have taken ages for an ambulance to arrive.)
2. almost got my head crushed/drowned/being sucked into the Indian Ocean at Cape Schanck, Australia being hit by a big wave (having been really stupidly careless but being accompanied by locals!)
