Story And Details
I'd been indoor climbing for about 7 months before I finally got a chance to get out on the real things. My friend Kev took me to a local place called Cratcliffe which is near to the infamous Robin Hood cave. It was really good although I did find out that the skin on my finger tips was much softer than I'd thought. Within minutes they were bleeding and then bound with climbing tape.
It was interesting to see the differences between indoor climbing and outdoor. Indoor is easier but you tend to move a lot more. Outdoor is much harder and more tactical.
