Growing up on shows (Dick Van Dyke Show, Bewitched, etc) re-enforced the image of a nice home and family.What’s been frustrating is that I’m Jewish and have tried every rational method to find someone. Never dated. I’ve tried online websites, but they’re either in NYC and date locally or they never reply. I’ve tried early on with a physical singles group. Joined several Facebook singles groups. I met someone who’s in the midst of life problems herself. I’ve felt jealous of my high school classmates for about 20 years since graduating college. They’ve found someone and had children already. |
